Flowers & Gifts for Grandparents Day

Whether you call them Nana, Gramps, Papa, or Mimi - there is no denying that grandparents capture a special place in our heart. September 10 is Grandparents Day, which gives you the ideal opportunity to express your gratitude and affection. Marian McQuade is the mother and grandmother behind Grandparents Day, a time set aside to not only recognize the older generation for all they do and contribute, but to encourage the sharing of stories, wisdom, and family history.  Ms. McQuade envisioned families gathering, holding reunions, and even volunteering or participating in community events together. The goal of the day? To foster strong family ties and create an ongoing legacy. At Bice's Florist, we think that is a fantastic vision to celebrate.  Read More about Flowers & Gifts for Grandparents Day »

July 4th Flowers and Fort Worth Celebrations

Celebrating the Fourth of July is an annual tradition in Fort Worth, as it is across the country. From parades to picnics  - and right through the fireworks - it is a day filled with good times, good friends, and family fun. When it comes to providing the decor for a barbecue or backyard party, Bice’s Florist has the July 4th flowers that will make celebrating our nation’s birthday more beautiful than ever. Did You Know? John Adams proclaimed that July 2 should be Independence Day and declared that “It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other - from this time forward forever more.” He may have had the date wrong, but his estimation of how we would celebrate has turned out to be accurate!  Read More about July 4th Flowers and Fort Worth Celebrations »
