Bice’s Florist – Holiday Centerpieces 2015

Christmas is around the corner. When it comes to major holidays, we all know that Texans go all out, and Christmas is no exception to this “unwritten rule.” It is a wonderful time of the year because families, friends, neighbors, coworkers, church families and other important people in our lives, gather at our tables and in our homes to celebrate. Our floral design team here at Bice’s Florist have worked hard to come up with some spectacular centerpieces that are sure to grab the attention of all of your holiday guests.

While it may seem as though holiday centerpieces are designed to be used on dining tables, we feel sure that centerpieces can be used on other tables and surfaces as well. We thought we’d showcase some of our favorite holiday centerpieces in this blog, in the hope of giving you some inspiration as to ways to use them in your own holiday home decorating.

Greet your guests in style with a beautiful floral centerpiece for your foyer console table. Vera Wang’s “Holiday Peace” is a festive combination of red and white flowers, including carnations, stock, and roses. We add sprigs of variegated holly, and boughs of holiday greenery and bring everything together in a massive gold-lined hand-blown footed glass bowl.

A wide windowsill is a perfect place to showcase our festive Celebrate the Season centerpiece. This gorgeous arrangement is designed around a red cut glass hurricane lamp. We combine velvety red roses and snowy white chrysanthemums, add an abundance of Christmas green and then pull the centerpiece together with a decorative candy cane striped red and white bow.

Delight your family members and guests as they gaze at this festive flower-filled sleigh arrangement that we call “Holiday Traditions.” We chose red roses, white lilies and chrysanthemums, and white statice to mix with holiday greenery. We arrange it all in a festive keepsake hand painted sleigh. Your family will make memories for many future years as this decorative sleigh becomes a new holiday tradition in your home.

As the holiday approaches, it becomes more important that you take care of the things you need to do to be ready for the arrival of your guests. Let our Holiday Gift Guide help you with all of your floral decorating needs this season. Call us, come in, or order your centerpieces online. Don’t wait until it’s too late to get what you want for your holiday tables.
