When you’re in the floral industry, you end up participating in a lot of meaningful life moments with your customers. Bice’s Florist is no exception, and in fact it’s one of our favorite things about working in such an emotional business. We get to know our people extremely well, and we’re there for the major events of their lives. Our connection to the people who shop with us is deep and abiding. We wouldn’t have it any other way, and we design for them all.

We have an elderly customer who orders flowers quite often for the people around her that run errands and such for her. She is so kind, always sending somethng to someone. One of our sales agents became quite close to her and
decided to send her a small arrangement for Christmas. She called and was so grateful. She stated she would be alone this Christmas and was so touched that our sales agent had thought of her. Sometimes just a small gesture can mean so much.

Flowers help us connect to people in a way that nothing else can. In this case, the connection happened between our team and our customer who gives so much of herself; the simple act of giving back to her through flowers was enough to connect us.
