Honor Your Fearless Leader This Bosses Day

Each October we celebrate the hard-working individuals who encourage and support us in our jobs. Bosses Day was started to show our appreciation for the men and women who lead us, mentor us, and support us daily without seeking recognition. In 1958, at a State Farm Insurance company in Cleveland, Ohio, Patricia Bays Haroski saw how hard her boss (who was also her father) worked to keep the office running smoothly for his employees. She felt thanks were in order so she worked to have October 16th, her father’s birthday, designated as National Bosses Day.
