Celebrating the Fourth of July is an annual tradition in Fort Worth, as it is across the country. If you are looking for some family fun for the holiday, look no further than Fort Worth’s Panther Island Pavilion. Enjoy local Battle of the Bands competitions, live music performances all evening, a free KidZone open from 2 p.m. through 8 p,.m. featuring everything from pony rides and to face painting and zip lines. There will be great food, a huge tubing party, and the biggest fireworks display in NorthTxas beginning at 10 p.m. You may also wish to check out all the fun at the Fort Worth Stockyards. You’ll find face-painting for the kids from noon to 4 p.m., live music and the popular Legends of Texas gunfight shows at 11:45 a.m.and 4:15 p.m.
