Marian McQuade is the mother and grandmother behind Grandparents Day, a time set aside to not only recognize the older generation for all they do and contribute, but to encourage the sharing of stories, wisdom, and family history.  Ms. McQuade envisioned families gathering, holding reunions, and even volunteering or participating in community events together. The goal of the day? To foster strong family ties and create an ongoing legacy. At Bice’s Florist, we think that is a fantastic vision to celebrate.

Approximately $52 billion will be expended annually on the grandchildren, and $32 billion will be contributed by grandparents to help pay for education costs.
