Long-time Bice’s Florist customer claims prize for husband through “Petal Points” rewards program
Hurst, Tex.,Sept. 1, 2006 – Janet Walker has been a loyal customer of Bice’s Florist, of Hurst, for years, but now she has extra incentive to keep the relationship rolling along, thanks to the company’s Petal Points Rewards Program.
Customers who place orders with Bice’s online receive and accumulate points for every order placed, and may use them to receive discounts on future purchases, trade them in for brand-name merchandise or donate them to a favorite charity.
Most of Bice’s customers have elected to receive discounts on subsequent purchases. Mrs. Walker had something else in mind, however. She saved up her points to get her husband a Jeep Comanche Classic mountain bike. When she exchanged petal power for pedal power last week she became Bice’s first customer to be awarded a major prize through the Petal Points program.
Bice’s co-owner Keith Riewe says the program has been a big hit with customers since it was established. “It’s exciting to see our loyal customers throughout the Fort Worth area benefit directly from this program. It’s especially nice to be part of a business that helps people such as Janet Walker express their love for others in such touching and selfless ways.”
